As a medical device manufacturer, we collect information, including personal information, about you in order to provide you, as an End-user, Participant, Customer, Employee or Shareholder, with the quality products, services and support you request from us.
For the purposes of this statement, “Personal information” is any information which directly or indirectly relates to an identified or identifiable individual. It includes names, unique identifiers, location information, financial information, IP addresses, or one or more factors specific to the physical, physiological, genetic, mental, economic, social or cultural identity of an individual.
We recognise other special categories of personal information may put your privacy at greater risk if combined with your personal information, such as information which reveals or infers physical or mental health, racial or ethnic origin, political opinions, religious or political beliefs, genetic information, biometric information, sex life or sexual orientation, criminal information, trade union membership.
We will collect and use your personal information to provide you with high-quality services and products, in a way that reflects our core values. We recognise that the way we handle your personal information is crucial to earning and maintaining your trust. We are committed to upholding the following privacy principles embodied in our Global Privacy Policy.
We will use your personal information when it is lawful, necessary and fair.

We may share your information with other F&P Healthcare group companies and with our trusted third parties to provide the products and services you requested. F&P Healthcare will apply suitable safeguards to protect the security of your personal information.
We may also share information when required by law or regulation or to respond to legal processes; to protect our Customers, End-users and Employees; to fulfil a legitimate interest; to maintain security of our products; and to protect the rights and property of F&P Healthcare and its Employees.
As a global organisation, with our headquarters based in Auckland, New Zealand, we take care that your personal information is transferred in accordance with our international legal and regulatory obligations and ensure that cross-border transfers occur in a safe, lawful and secure way. We use standard data protection clauses and other contractual arrangements to ensure appropriate safeguards are in place for the safe transfer of information.
We not sell any of your personal information to third parties.
To help protect your personal information, we use technical and organisational safeguards to secure information which we hold about you. We use de-identification, encryption, pseudonymisation and password protection, among other security measures, to ensure personal information is kept secure and conduct regular testing of the effectiveness of technical and organisational measures.
While we will endeavour to take reasonable, appropriate steps to keep secure information which we hold about you and prevent unauthorised access, we cannot provide absolute assurance regarding the security of your personal information. However, our security measures are continuously improved in line with technological developments and good practice to ensure personal information is adequately protected.
Your personal information is securely stored by F&P Healthcare on its servers and with our trusted third party cloud-based database management services providers. Personal information collected by F&P Healthcare may be stored and processed in your region and in any other country where F&P Healthcare or its affiliates and subsidiaries or services providers operate facilities.
We will retain your personal information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected and to comply with our legal obligations.

We are committed to protecting the privacy of children. We will collect personal information from minors only with express consent of their parent/guardian or as required by your Healthcare Professional or Distributor if you have provided them authority to share it with us for a specific purpose.
Parents and guardians can exercise privacy rights on their children’s behalf, however we may need to verify that they authorised to act on their behalf and collect additional information to do so.

F&P Healthcare recognises you have rights over your personal information. In particular, you have the right to request for more information about what information we collect and process about you, and request a copy of it, to correct your information, and you may have the right to ask us to erase your information in some circumstances. You may also have a right to tell us if you want us to stop using it in certain ways. To make a privacy request, contact us by emailing or writing to our Privacy Team. You may also contact your local Data Protection Officer (refer to section 8, Contact Us), for additional support or queries relating to your personal information and privacy rights.
We will respond to your privacy requests as soon as we can, and no later than 20 working days from the date of a request. Please understand some requests may require further verification, require additional time to process or may not be able to fully be completed as you requested due to our legal obligations, necessary, legitimate business interests or technical limitations. When this happens, we will let you know.
If you purchased a F&P Healthcare medical product or service from a Healthcare Professional or Distributor, you may need to submit your privacy request to your Healthcare Professional or Distributor to process your request. We will then work together to support your Healthcare Professional or Distributor as necessary.
If you are not satisfied about how we managed your privacy request, you may have a right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.
